to you video of Tommy's speeches we've collected to
be preserved forever on DVD. Proceeds from the sale
of these DVD's will be put towards future volumes as
material is located and preserved. Enjoy! Monthly donors
giving $10 or more per month receive "collector's
editions" of these DVD's and future DVD's as they

The Foundation has
released a new DVD “The Speeches of Tommy Douglas –
Volume 1”. The DVD, introduced by Shirley Douglas, contains
eight speeches made by Tommy Douglas from 1959 to 1984.
Tommy Douglas’
speeches range from early 1960’s broadcasts as Saskatchewan’s
Premier to his 1983 NDP Convention speech that received
a twenty minute standing ovation. The DVD closes with
a rendition of Mouseland introduced by Tommy’s grandson,
Kiefer Sutherland.

The Foundation has
released the next DVD in the collection “The Speeches
of Tommy Douglas”. Volume 2 is video from speeches Tommy
made in the House of Commons from 1978-1979. The DVD,
introduced by Ed Broadbent, contains six speeches made
by Tommy Douglas in his last two years in the House
of Commons.
