A
small piece of history... Doug Massey,
our Executive Assistant, taking Tommy and the DCF
on the road at the 2008 Canadian Labour Congress Convention
in Toronto giving away free posters, selling DVD's
and recruiting members/donors. This photo was taken
by Murray Mosher of Murray Mosher Photography, who
40 years ago, also took the infamous photo of Tommy
Douglas at the 1968 Canadian Labour Congress Convention
which we have used on our posters
and other promotional materials.

"People have to have a sense
of the need for change before it comes. I've never believed
that social change is brought about by rational thinking
on the part of people. They take the next step forward
because they have to in order to survive. Man likes
to tread the beaten path. Only a great social upheaval
can force him to move into some great new uplands of
human behaviour."
